Kimberly A. Fiske

Kim Fiske, a partner with Fiske Law Group, focuses her law practice in estate planning, and trust and estate administration.  She brings broad experience to her practice having worked as a Vice President in commercial lending and Senior Trust Officer with SunTrust Bank.  Kim volunteered with several Alexandria non-profit organizations during her fourteen years as a banker and decided to transition from banking to full time non-profit work. She spent several rewarding years working with donors, patients and hospital employees as a Planned Giving and Major Gifts Officer with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Kim’s next transition was studying full-time at George Mason School of Law and returning to volunteering in the Alexandria community. Today Kim draws upon her financial, trust, and non-profit experience when assisting her clients to find creative solutions, settle their loved one’s estates and plan for their future.

Kim was recognized by her colleagues as a leader in the legal community when she was inducted as a Fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation.  In addition, Kim is AV rated which is the Martindale Hubbell highest possible peer review rating.

Since 1982 Kim has served as a dedicated community volunteer with several non-profit organizations in Alexandria where she has been recognized for her community leadership by United Way, Volunteer Alexandria and Stop Child Abuse Now. Trusts & Estates, a national industry magazine, honored her as a “Practitioner with Heart” for her legal work and community involvement.

Kim is an avid Washington Nationals fan, and enjoys kayaking, spending time with her husband, David, and their ten-year old grandson. Kim and David currently live on the Severn River with their two Newfoundland dogs. Fiske Law Group is a dog friendly environment, and clients and employees are all encouraged to bring their dogs when they come to work or to meetings at our offices.
